Mac Miche
This is a model of a racing yacht, 6 m Class “J”, named Mac Miche. With its nice aerodynamic lines, we see easily that it was built for speed. Built following the architectural plans of Nantes-born Talma Bertran, it was assembled by the shipyard Bonnin in Gironde in 1908. The notoriety of Mac Miche rests on its victory during the Olympic Games in Stockholm in 1912. The Nantes brothers, Gaston and Amédéen Thubé, won the first Olympic medal in the history of French yachting.
