Ar Spinec

Built for Ambroise Spinec on the lle de Sein in 1931, it specialised in the laying of lobster pots. While equipped with an engine in 1936, the sail remained its main form of propulsion. Equipped with 27 lobster pots, it had the capacity to carry 120 pairs of spider crabs on the front deck. With a small forecastle at the front and a short rear deck, this boat is intentionally left open in order to stock a maximum number of lobster pots. With 1 or 2 people, this vessel fished for spider crabs between April and September and lobsters until October.
